We are here to change a broken culture…

In today’s travel ball mentality of win at all costs which stunts true development, Kado Baseball prioritizes players first where we focus on building champions now and into the future, both on the field and in life.

Our Story

Welcome to Kado Baseball, where the rich history of our journey traces back to the roots of a deep love for the game on the vibrant island of Oahu. Inspired by positive coaching experiences that preceded us, we have built upon a foundation of excellence that has transformed the lives of countless kids and families in our communities. This is the heartbeat of why we do what we do.

At Kado Baseball, we follow the K.A.D.O. way—a philosophy rooted in the meticulous development of players not only as athletes but as contributors to their communities. Regardless of age or skill level, our commitment is unwavering: to focus on the individual needs of each player. Our approach is detailed, and our passion is evident. We don’t just roll the balls onto the field; we invest in the lives of our young athletes as if they were our own.

Our dedicated group of coaches and staff understands that the journey of each player extends beyond the diamond. We are here to walk alongside kids, nurturing their love for the game and guiding them through their unique baseball journeys. The K.A.D.O. way is not just about winning games; it’s about instilling values that transcend the sport—values that mold great players and even greater members of society.

The K.A.D.O. Way

Knowing the game at a deeper level is what sets our players and teams apart. Our coaches take pride in developing our players’ knowledge of baseball and on creating lifelong learners and students of the game.

The pillars of the Kado Attitude are competitiveness, confidence, and effort. We instill in our kids that to be the best, you first must believe and train like you are the best. We preach that if they give us 100% of their effort, then there is no limit to what they can do. This comes down to controlling the controllable and learning to face adversity head on with confidence and by perfecting the fundamentals.

Kado Baseball is first and foremost a family. An ohana where everyone deserves respect. Each player that comes through our program is considered family and my staff and I treat the kids as if they were our own. And for me and the coaches, there is no greater satisfaction than watching players grow, develop, and ultimately succeed in our program.

We open our doors to any player committed to improvement, ready to unleash their athletic potential, and fueled by a genuine passion for the game. Our mission is to invest in those who understand the value of hard work, both on the field and in life, because we firmly believe that hard work works.

The Kado way is our compass, guiding us with a detail-oriented approach that places a premium on fundamentals. We celebrate the intensity of our practices, knowing that each moment of hard work is a step toward improvement. As players witness their progress week by week, they not only grow as athletes but also as individuals who understand the essence of being a great teammate—both in baseball and in life.

Join us on this remarkable journey as we shape not just great players, but exceptional individuals who carry the spirit of Kado both on and off the field. We are more than a baseball program; we are a community that thrives on the principles of the K.A.D.O. way.
